Chad R. Whitten was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1957 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1979. He served as a business analyst with Dun & Bradstreet until 1982, and then for the next four years served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Captain with the first
Infantry Division in Germany. In 1988 he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He has served as past Chairman of the State Chamber's Committee on Worker's Compensation. He currently serves as a Deacon with Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church and is active in the Boy Scouts of America.
Cynthia J. Braly was born in Oklahoma City and received a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1983. In 1986 she received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar the same year. Since that time she has been engaged in the practice of civil litigation, representing a wide
variety of business clients, including those in the energy, manufacturing, marketing, banking and insurance industries. Cynthia has served with the Durbin, Larimore & Bialick firm in Oklahoma City and Morrel, West & Saffa in Tulsa. She has served as a staff member with Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. Cynthia is admitted to practice before all courts of the state of Oklahoma, as well as United States District Courts in the Northern and Western districts of Oklahoma.
Valerie J. Evans was born at Chanute Air Force Base, near Rantoul, Illinois in 1964. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 1986. Ms. Evans received her Juris Doctor in 1990 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. In 1982, Ms. Evans was commissioned as a lieutenant in the
U.S. Army and served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard from 1982 to 2004 attaining the rank of Major. She served in a wide variety positions to include Brigade Postal Officer, Brigade Inspector General and Administrative Officer of the Oklahoma Regional Training Institute. Ms. Evans worked for the City of Tulsa as Assistant City Attorney from 1995-2004 primarily in the area of Workers’ Compensation Defense and tort claim litigation. Ms. Evans is a member of numerous professional organizations to include the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association and Tulsa County Bar Association. She serves on the Fee Arbitration and Diversity Committees of the Tulsa County Bar Association. Ms. Evans is admitted to practice in the United States District Court of the Northern District of Oklahoma and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
James B. Cassody Born in Bakersfield, California in 1963. Jim received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1988, and Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University in 1993. He has an extensive background in the Oil and Gas industry. Jim has practiced exclusively in the area of civil litigation and Workers' Compensation
defense since 1996. He has been active in the Bar Association and has been a speaker at seminars over the last several years. Jim is past Vice-President of the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel, Workers' Compensation Section.
